Your Questions

What is Dr. Bean's experience and education?

What are my options for straightening my teeth and correcting my bite?

Dr. Bean offers six-month braces, clear braces, and porcelain veneers to straighten smiles. With six-month braces, patients can enjoy a fast and effective solution for bite realignment and a straighter smile. Clear braces offer the convenience of removable aligners, as well as a reduced treatment time in comparison to traditional orthodontics. Porcelain veneers, sometimes referred to as instant orthodontics, mask slight misalignments and gaps in front teeth – often in just two dental visits.

Do you accept dental insurance?

We do more than accept insurance – we will file your claims, as well. Though Dr. Bean is not a preferred provider for any insurance company, we gladly file as an out-of-network provider. We will estimate your benefits and accept your copay or deductible at your visit. If your insurance provider does not cover their estimated portion of your bill, your account will reflect the balance. We will gladly help you finance your dental work through CareCredit, a trusted name in patient financing.

What is laser dentistry, and how does Dr. Bean use his laser?

A soft-tissue dental laser offers precision for minimally invasive procedures, such as gum reduction for a fuller smile, periodontal therapy for gum disease, and relief for cold sores or fever blisters. Because it seals as it cuts, our soft-tissue laser eliminates the need for stitches after surgery. Most patients experience minimal bleeding and a speedy recovery. What are my options for replacement teeth?

Dr. Bean offers traditional or implant-supported bridgework, partials, and dentures, as well as stand-alone dental implants. While traditional prosthetics look natural and are more comfortable than in the past, dental implants provide a solid prosthetic that closely mimics natural tooth structure. Why do you offer digital X-rays instead of traditional radiographs?

Digital X-ray machines, also called digital radiographs, emit up to 80-percent less radiation than traditional X-rays. In addition, digital images are immediately available for review on convenient chairside monitors. They are earth friendly, as well, requiring no toxic development chemicals or film. Digital files also expedite transferring cases to specialists (via email) and submitting insurance claims online.
